Beco Butterfly Carrier

I hate when I want overpriced goods. But it’s just too late. I saw this perfect baby carrier at a friend’s house and fell in love with it. Most baby carriers seem too bulky or not supportive enough. I definitely don’t want metal bars or something that makes it looks like I’m going camping, but I also don’t want something that the baby sort of disappears in due to lack of support. I also want to be back-healthy myself and am afraid that one of those cloth slings (which I also want) which are good for carrying the baby for a little bit, are probably not so good on the back if you’re holding the baby for a while.

Also, these are just so so pretty.

The Beco Butterfly Carriers (the new 2008 models) come with a removable infant insert so your little baby won’t fall out or slump over. All straps are adjustable and are good for short people and tall people. And they are soft, cotton, and organic.

If I were stranded on a desert island, I think I’d want one of these with me.

I’ll have to check those out. As soon as you mentioned slingitis, it opened a whole new world to me…thanks. 🙂
